Every Christmas, in her small country kitchen in the heart of Ireland, Florrie Purcell’s grandmother baked her delicious puddings for her family and friends. Today, using the very same time-tested recipe, Florrie continues the tradition of baking her wonderful Scullery Christmas Puddings. There is no stinting on quality or care. All seven fruits are hand-selected, weighed and soaked in beer to make them extra succulent. Currants are never used because these can leave a bitter taste and pure Irish butter is used instead of suet for a richer, softer bite.

Finally, every pudding is christened with a generous drop or real French brandy and sealed with a Christmas wish for your family to enjoy.
